CFTU Publishes 2017 White List of China Schools For Foreign ESL & TEFL Teachers

Were you looking for:

Welcome to 2017 friends and colleagues!  With more China schools and training centers than ever before (1,598), this looks to be a promising year for China foreign teachers who have chosen China to advance or begin their teaching careers.

Before you scroll down and look for a safe white-listed school among the almost 1,600 that had the fewest complaints and most teacher endorsements, we want to warn you all that to completely avoid scams, it is best to avoid agents and apply directly to the FAOs (Foreign Affairs Officer) at all the schools. Why?  Because when you apply to online ads you find at Beijinger, SinoCities, Echinacities, Craiglist, ESLCafe, you will seldom, if ever get the fake job that was used as bait, and sending your resume to unlicensed black agents can easily end up costing you $10,000. How? Read this http://chinascamwatch.wordpress.com.  To learn more about working in China visit http:/ESLWatch.info/forum/China or scroll down and read our archives about contracts, teacher's rights, and dealing with shady agents.

Our blacklist was also updated on January 1st, 2017 and can be scanned for free here: http://www.chinaforeignteacherssunion.org. So without further adieu we are pleased to present you with the below white-listed China ESL & TEFL employers for 2017 that are registered, licensed, and legally allowed to hire foreign employers and sponsor a Z visa that is required by law: (Please allow up to 3 minutes to load)

  1. This looks like a great list. However, I've looked up about 10 schools on this list and not been able to find a single one online except the Maple School and Beijing Normal University. How do I find and contact the schools?

You are welcome to add your comments, ideas, and suggestions below: Specific questions should be sent by email UNLESS you are on the Blacklist page. We do not accept requests to "please check ABC school" if you are not a current CFTU member. If your school is not on the White List, then check the blacklist.:
